Nush!!!
Okay, London is starting to seem nicer... but i must say, i still LOVE MALAYSIA! (never thought i would say that). You know when we were little, or at least when i was little, i always thought i would jump at the opportunity to migrate overseas, but now, i have to rethink that. Maybe it's still too soon, so i should still give London a chance.
The other day, i was exploring london by myself, and i came across this cathedral (st martin-on-the-field) which has a free lunch time comcert. I just followed the crowd in, and the music was heavenly. They were playing Mozart and Brahms. It was definitely something to experience!
Okay, lemme tell u bout the drinking party. It was the first night for most of the residences at my halls (3rd night for me by the way). It was nice to finally hear people walkin in the corridors! If you ever get the chance to go overseas, don't go too early. The lonliness can kill! Neways, they caught hold of everyone and directed them to the backyard garden for drinks. I joined them at bout 9, but apparently the guys had been drinking since 5pm, and they WERE pretty tipsy. There was plenty of laughing, blah blah blah... but no lame jokes. At bout midnight, they decided to move to a club. My roomie and i followed them there, but didn't join. Have to pay 7 pounds to get it, and i wasn't ready to spend so much money!
I talked to my roomie, and she's really sweet. We have quite a lot in common, and she has tons of korean songs and movies on her laptop!! haha... still getting to know her though, so can't say much.
Khaiven came down yday (sunday). Me and VC brought his around. He was walking around like a zombie. I think he's still having culture shock, cos he asked me if he could get dinner for less than a pound, and he was complaining bout how we could see everything, but cannot buy. Tell me about it man, i went into selfridges, and OH MY GOSH, it's exactly how Beckie Bloomwood described it to be!! I so so so so wished you were there with me! Those guys didn't even know what miu miu shoes are!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Naturally, i was in no mood to shop, cos i can't buy, and shopping isn't shopping without buying. At bout 3pm, we decided to go back to my room to chill. I tell you, if we were in msia, we would have just stopped at a mamak stall, but everything in london is so ex! No road side stalls by the way.
In my room, we just talked. VC left to eat his dinner. Me and KVen were so bored we started comparing A Levels results, Passport Photos, Visa Photos... Then i started taking pics of myself. SO BORED!!!
I had mamee mee for dinner.it was good. Cooked it myself. Added spinach and eggs! Lol...
Neways, i have decided to do wat the londoners do when they are free -- go have picnics in parks. I'll prob check out some museum or something. I guess london will turn me into a more cultured person, and not some mamak hopping bimbo! LOL.
Take care! Will update soon,
Liz
